East Jakarta Mayor Opens Musrenbang Virtually

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar opened regional development planning forum (Musrenbang) virtually at Cililitan Urban Village Office, Kramat Jati, Monday (2/1).

This is the first Musrenbang in East Jakarta

His side also invited East Jakarta City Planning Head (Kapenko), Hartati; Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan; Cililitan Urban Village Head, Agung Budi Santoso; RT/RW heads and Sub-agency heads to participate in this Musrenbang.

In order to maintain health protocols and prevent COVID-19 spread, this time the Musrenbang was carried out online. He understand if there are some obstacles during online Musrenbang, such as bad network signals and others.

"In the midst of pandemic, Musrenbang activity can be carried out well by complying with health protocols. This is the first Musrenbang in East Jakarta," he stated.

He hopes that the number of non-physical development proposals will be more than the physical development in Musrenbang. Because many residents have been affected by COVID-19 outbreak, thus it is necessary to improve their economy.

Cililitan Urban Village Head, Agung Budi Santoso explained, in this Musrenbang, there were 126 proposals with value of Rp 16,835,941,599. It consisted of 89 physical proposals with value of Rp 16,422,764,064, 17 non-physical proposals with value of Rp 281,355,955, and 20 proposed items with value of Rp 85,624,580.

"The most popular proposal in this Musrenbang is water channels construction and maintenance. Especially for channels dredging work that will be carried out by SDA this year," he said.
